CMC-KUHNKE Water Tester for Can Integrity

When held with the parallel clamp, the open top cans are placed within the magnet plate’s grooves. Pressure is applied upon pressing the touch valves. The cans, attached to the rubber plate, are filled with air pressure and simultaneously submerged under water. Cans of different diameters may be tested under fairly high pressure.

The length of time between the sealing of the cans and their submergence can be regulated with a timing valve (option). The speed at which the cans are raised and submerged can be regulated with a choke. A manometer displays the pressure inside the cans. The whole process is automated and pneumatically controlled.
